I've loved weddings since I was a little girl.  I still remember the first wedding I went to; I was six years old and the bride was named Norma Jean, and she wore a beautiful white lace wedding gown and a pouffy veil, and her bridesmaids wore emerald green satin....

I used to avidly read the society section of the Sunday newspaper, reading and re-reading the wedding announcements with their bridal gown descriptions, and gazing at the pictures.

I don't mean I've simply "enjoyed"  weddings -- I truly mean I have loved them!  Everything about them.  The beautiful gowns and veils, the bridesmaids and the myriad of colors of their gowns, the music, the pageantry, the emotions evoked.... 

Since that first wedding when I was six I have attended multitudes of weddings: first those of my childhood babysitters; then those of my older cousins; then those of of high school and ultimately college friends; more recently those of my own children and their friends.  Through all, I am ever enthralled with all of the celebration of a wedding -- but most of all the glorious flowers!
